The CRII examination will be delivered online with live remote proctoring and will be available on demand. Authorized candidates will be able to test at any time during their testing window, with no appointment needed.
Candidates whose CRII application has been approved receive an Authorization to Test. Their examination account is created at that time, so there is nothing to set up in advance.
Every session is monitored live by human and AI-assisted proctors and reviewed again afterward to protect the integrity of the credential.
Testing windows, examination rules, and the CRII Candidate Handbook will be published here when the credential launches. Questions in the meantime can go to credential@clearhq.org.
The Certified Regulatory Investigator & Inspector (CRII) credential recognizes professionals who demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for investigation and inspection work in professional and occupational regulation.
The CRII credential is administered by the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation (CLEAR) independently of its education and training programs.
Questions about the CRII credential or its launch can go to the credentialing team at credential@clearhq.org.
Support hours and help for candidates during testing will be listed here when the portal opens.
